Caleb Glick, GAPS (Godonsville Airport Preservation Society) member gives tailwheel orientation flights to 3 aviation pilot/enthusiasts from Australia. They were also given information and flight demonstration of an RV8, an experimental home-built aircraft, built by Jim Shannon, another GAPS member.
Michael Lake, "The Squeaker," and his first solo. Michael recently soloed in Bluebird Aerodrome's Cessna 150 which is fondly known as "Bluebird." Town of Gordonsville, Virginia Agenda Item Summary November 21, 2011
Area GAPS members plan to attend town meeting in show support for the AWOS III system. The new weather system will create a safer environment for pilots and community.

Bob hopes to finish his RV by June 2012.

Bob Ross, located at KGVE, continues to make visable progress on his RV 12. Recently he tried on his new wings!

N5985T Cessna 150 is ready and available to rent.
Price is: $77.00 per hour
Airplane - $45.00 (Subject to change based on fuel avialablity at KGVE)
Current Fuel Price - 32.00 (6 gallons/hour)
There is currently no fuel on the field at KGVE which requires that we rent the airplane with fuel included at this time.
