GAPS Member Dennis Horton

Dennis Horton of Horton Vineyards donated a Kobota tractor mower for mowing grass at KGVE.

When Dennis saw Caleb Glick mowing 23 acres of land with this little mower, he offered to donate a Kabota mower!

It now only takes a day and a half rather than several weekends to mow the grass at KGVE with the little tractor mower. Dennis Horton is also building a Safari helicopter at KGVE.

    GAPS Member Dan Rogers

Realize your full potential as a pilot. Whether your goal is beginning aerobatics, unusual attitude recovery, or adding a tailwheel endorsement to your pilot certificate...

Dan Rogers, aerobatic instructor of aero enterprises (http://flyacro.us/acro.html)

Dan is a resident Certified Flight Instructor at Gordonsville Municipal Airport. He specializes in aerobatic and spin training. He is based at KGVE (Gordonsville Airport).

Dan competes in several local aerobatic competitions. When Dan is not instructing or cooing over his newly acquired airplane, or teaching is students about airplane spins, he helps our GAPS organization by climbing tall beacon towers and replacing lights and other work as needed at KGVE.

    GAPS Member: Frank Isabell

Pictured below is the PT23 owned by Frank Isabell. Frank and a group of other tailwheel airplanes flew in unexpectedly November 11, 2010.
